Because he’s a self-referential movie actor, a pampered doughy guy who thumbs his nose at a cushy job many of us would kill to have in order to have some mundane, middle-aged adventures and help no one but himself to experience…well, some driving around in a new car? He is us, but how we’d be if we really truly hate ourselves.
