Cloud Atlas is one of those rare, very rare times in which I’ve actually read the book long before the movie will come out. I’m fascinated to see what the Wachowskis will do with it with such a bizarre, sprawling story and oddball cast. As with most of their projects, it’s ambitious and strange - and has the potential to go way, way off the rails.
